Final output

Dandelion seeds flied in the sky. 

민들레 씨앗들이 하늘을 날았다

She flew downwind. 

그녀는 바람을 타고 날아갔다.

There far away, was dry and dilapidated land. 

저기 멀리 마르고 다 허물어져 가는 땅이 있었다.

So any plants couldn’t live on the land. 

그래서 어떤 식물도 그 땅에서는 자랄 수 없었다.

The land, Bruno, was sad, and alone. 

그 땅인 브로노는 슬펐고 혼자였다.

She landed on the ground. and She said " Can we be friends?" But Bruno turned her back on.

그녀는 땅에 떨어지고는 말했다. “우리 친구 할래?” 그러나 브루노 는 그녀에게 등을 돌렸다.

However she never gave up and took root in the poor soil. 

그러나 그녀는 절대로 포기하지 않았으며 척박한 땅에 뿌리를 내렸다.

“Hey, Bruno(땅)! How are you today?” 

“브로노! 오늘 어때?”

"Not bad." 

“나쁘지 않아”

“That’s good!” 

“좋아!”

Dandelion asked about his feeling continuation

민들레는 계속해서 그가 어떤 기분인지 물었다. 

One day, he became enraged. 

어느 날, 그는  심하게 화를 냈다. 

“You’ll be in danger if you stay with me. Go somewhere else!” 

“만약 너가 나에게 온다면 너는 위험해질거야. 다른 곳으로 가!”

Daney was surprised, but smiled and said “That’s okay! 

단이는 놀랬지만 미소를 지며 괜찮아!라고 말했다.

I’m sure someone will help me.”

나는 누군가가 나를 도와 줄거라고 확신해

“Whoops… Don’t be silly, if you stay with me, surely you will be unhappy.”

웁스… 바보 같은 소리 마, 만약 네가 나와 함께 있는다면, 확실히 너는 행복해질거야.”

She pretended nonchalance. 

그녀는 태연한 척했다.

“Rumbling” 

우르릉

Every day, and every time dandelion was hungry. 

매일 그리고 매 시간마다 민들레는 배가 고팠어요.

But anybody couldn’t help her because her place was empty. 

그러나 그녀의 장소는 비어있었기 때문에 아무도 그녀를 도울 수 없었다. 

“Oh… That dandelion looks like she is lonely. isn’t it?” 

“오…. 저 민들레 외로워보이지 않니?.”

“I think so. But She is not alone.” Other clouds are odd. (보라색이 최예솔)

“내 생각도 그래. 하지만 그녀는 혼자가 아니야.” 다른 구름은 특이했다. 

“What do you say? Look at that! there is nothing on the land.” 

“무슨 말을 하는거야? 저기 좀 봐! 땅에는 아무것도 없어.”

“Hmm… You should think about it again. Is she happy?” 

“음… 다시 생각해봐봐. 그녀는 행복하니?

“Maybe, because every day she is smiling.”

“아마도, 왜냐하면 그녀는 매일 웃고 있기 때문이야.” 

“Yes, because she stayed with the land, her love. So she is  not alone.” 

“그래, 그녀는 땅과 머물러있기 때문에 그녀의 사랑, 그래서 그녀는 혼자가 아니야.”

“But she looks so tired. What’s wrong?” 

“그러나 그녀는 매우 힘들어보여. 무슨 일일까?”

“Maybe she is hungry.” 

“아마도 그녀는 배고픈 것같아.”

“She won’t be hungry if we make weather to rain ”

“만일 우리가 비를 내려준다면(두르다) 그녀는 배고프지 않을거야!”

“Drip-drip” 

“똑-똑(물방울이)”

By the way, there was a lot of rain. 

그런데, 많은 비가 왔었다.

It keeps on raining. 

비가 계속 내린다.

Daney and Bruno were happy. 

단이와 브루노는 행복해졌다.

After a long time, there had been rain.

 오랜 시간 후에, 비는 그쳤다.

The land changed into more and more fertile land. 

그 땅은 더 풍요로운 땅으로 바뀌었다.

“Yum-yum” 

“냠-냠”

Daney didn’t know how to help her, but she was thankful. 

단이는 그녀를 어떻게 도와주는지 알지 못했지만 그녀는 감사했다. 

She could be full. 

그녀는 배부를 수 있었다.

“How about you?”

“너는 어때?”

Bruno asked her. 

브루노가 그녀에게 물었다.

For the first time. 

처음으로

Daney thought she heard it wrong. 

단이는 그녀가 들은 것이 틀리다고 생각했다.

She danced in the wind. 

그녀는 바람에서 춤췄다.

“Yippee”

“야호"

She was glad to be caused by Bruno's change. 

그녀는 브루노의 변화에 의해 야기되어 기뻐했다.

Shortly, dandelion grew and became an adult dandelion. 

얼마 안되어, 민들레는 자랐고 어른 민들레가 되었다.

She had many dandelion seeds. 

그녀는 많은 민들레 씨를 가졌다. 

They had white down softly. 

그들은 부드럽고 하얗게되었다.

The adult dandelion said to baby dandelion seeds. 

어른 민들레는 아기 민들레 씨들에게 말했다.

“Children, you will be flying away in the wind soon. You can go anywhere you need. No matter where you go, I just hope you will be a good influencer.”  

“아가들아, 너희는 곧 바람에 저멀리 날아가게 될거야. 너희는 너희가 필요하면 어디로든지 갈 수 있어. 너희가 어디에 가도 상관없어, 나는 단지 너희가 좋은 영향력을 끼치는 사람이 되길 바래."

When they heard, her baby seeds thought about individual dreams.   

그들이 들었을 때, 그녀의 아기 씨앗들은 개인의 꿈에 대해 생각했다.

A seed wanted to go to greener pastures and another seed wanted to go to a flower garden of various flowers. 

한 씨앗은 푸른 초원으로 가길 원했고 다른 씨앗은 다양한 꽃들의 정원으로 가길 원했다.

They didn’t know where to fly to go. 

그들은 어디로 날아 가야 할지 몰랐다.

One day, a wind is blowing hard. Finally, every seed flew in the wind. 

어느날, 바람이 심하게 불고 있었다. 마침내, 모든 씨는 바람에 날아 갔다.

They flew in the wind at their choice. 

그들은 그들의 선택에 따라 바람에 날아 갔다.

Some seeds go far, and some seeds stay on Daney’s side. 

몇 개의 씨앗들은 멀리 가고 몇 개의 씨앗들은 단이의 옆에 머무른다.

Every seed left looking for their own land. 

모든 씨는 그들의 땅을 찾으러 떠났다.

Then they had one hope, will be a good influencer!

그런 다음 하나의 희망을 가지고 있었던 그들은 좋은 영향력을 끼치는 사람이 될 것이다!

In this story, there are dandelion and poor land, Bruno.

여기에는 두명의 캐릭터가 나오는데, 바로 민들레 단델리온과 척박한 땅 부로노입니다.  

Bruno is lonely because no plants can live on him. and he is afraid of someone coming to him. 

브루노는 아무런 식물도 살수 없는 척박한 땅이었기 때문에 외로웠지만 누군가가 자신에게 다가오는 것을 무서워했습니다

However a dandelion flies in and live with him. 

그런데 민들레 와서 그와 함께 합니다.

There are no much nutrition so it is too hard .But dandelion doesn’t give up. 

그 땅은 영양가 없기 때문에 버티기 힘들었음에도 불구하고 그녀는 부루노와 함께 있음을 포기하지 않았습니다. 

At last  dandelion grow and creative many dandelions. 

그리고 마침내 그 마음의 결실이 맺혀서 민들레는 많은 다른 민들레를 만들기까지 자랐습니다. 

The land is no longer lonely, and the land is transformed into a blessed land.  

그리고 브루노는 이제 더 이상 외로운 땅이 아니죠. 그는 복 받은 땅으로 변했습니다. 

If we apply this story to us as Christians, dandelion would be the gospel we must preach and also a christian of good influence

이 이야기를 크리스천인 우리에게 적용한다면 민들레는 우리가 전해야할 복음, 선한 영향력을 끼치는 크리스천이 될 것입니다. 

And the poor land would be the people/ to which/ we must preach the Gospel

그리고 척박한 땅은 우리가 복음을 전해야 할 대상이 되겠죠.

이 이야기는 영어동화만들기라는 이혜민학생의 창의활동과 융합한 것으로 . 

작가인 이혜민 학생은 이 이야기를 통해 우리에게 드리미학교의 비전을 똑바르게 보여주고 싶었다고 합니다. 

Here, in dreamy school, we are practicing to become a dandelion.

우리는 이곳 드리미학교에서 민들레가 되는 연습을 하고 있습니다.

Even though the place that we have to be is dry and poor, We’re practicing to be patient all the time and also go all over the place to spread the Gospel.

우리가 가는 그곳이 아무리 척박한 땅이라도 포기하지 않는 끈기를 연습하고, 복음을 전하며 민들레처럼 다른 곳으로 나가서 더 많은 씨앗을 맺는 연습을 하고 있습니다. 

This is a short story, but it shows how we should live)

비록 짧은 내용이지만 이 동화는 우리가 어떻게 해야하는지를 보여줍니다.

Perhaps there are many pains and nothing to gain like dandelion . But I wish we go  there and spread the Gospel like Jesus. Thank you for listening
